Renowned New York City boutique public relations firm seeks a motivated intern to aid on multiple large-scale projects:
The internship will be an opportunity to work in various facets of the public relations industry including fashion, nightlife and restaurants, as our firm represents some of New York City`s most exclusive venues and brands. Daily job responsibilities include keeping track of publicity hits for the firm`s many clients, contributing pitch ideas during meetings, attending events and coordinating the reception of press members along with much more. The selected intern will have the chance to make invaluable industry connections and experience in one of the most competitive and exciting fields. The internship requires 20 hours of work a week, and we encourage applicants to seek school credit; however, we offer a $25 per day stipend. Applicants must have excellent communication skills along with experience using Mac computers. Previous public relations or journalism experience is a plus but not necessary.
